This spunky pinot is a nice example of a richly layered Umpqua Valley pinot noir. Lots of pepper on the nose with hints of saddle leather, black cherry and the slightest tease of creme brulee. An invitingly sweet entry is balanced by pleasingly round tannins and judicious food-friendly acidity. Dark fruit flavors, black licorice and chocolate carry through the long, satisfying finish.
This soft and luscious gris offers a stone-fruit nose with touch of honeysuckle. The sweet entry is nicely balanced by fresh acidity, making it a wonderful food pairing wine as well as a solo sipper.
SILVER MEDAL WOW 2007
If you're caught in the Chardonnay rut, sip this blanc and feel renewed. Sandlewood and butter swirl in the glass offering rich mouthfeel and a bright crisp finish.
If sunlight could be caught in a glass it would look like the Constitution Ridge pinot blanc. Warm aromas of honey and straw lead to a creamy mouthful of butterscotch and lemondrops. Balanced nicely with bright mid palate acidity, this sips well alone or with seafood dishes and light creamy pasta.
